But deep within me lies a relentless passion—a passion for exploration, for stepping beyond the everyday routine and immersing myself in the cultures of faraway lands. Vietnam, with its rich history and vibrant traditions, has always captivated my imagination. For years, I’ve longed to leave behind the boardrooms and spreadsheets, to wander through the ancient streets of Hanoi and savor the scents of street food in Ho Chi Minh City. This free round-trip flight feels like destiny, a chance to fulfill my dream of experiencing Vietnam’s unique blend of ancient customs and modern vibrancy. I imagine myself marveling at the ancient temples of Hue, soaking in the spiritual essence of centuries-old pagodas. The lush terraced rice fields of Sapa call to me, not just for their beauty but for the stories they hold of generations of farmers. I long to take in the quiet moments at Ha Long Bay, where nature speaks in whispers, and the soul finds solace. For me, this journey is about more than just sightseeing; it’s a cultural awakening. As a storyteller and blogger in my spare time, I know the stories waiting for me in Vietnam will inspire me long after I return home. The people, their warmth, their resilience, and their traditions—these are the treasures I seek. Each meal I share, each conversation I have, will be an opportunity to learn and grow. This trip represents freedom, not just from the confines of a banker’s schedule but from the limits of my own understanding. In Vietnam, I hope to explore not just a new land, but new ideas, new ways of life, and most importantly, new parts of myself.

Resham and I first met while working at a bank, where I was her team leader. At the time, we kept our relationship completely under wraps—no one knew we were together for a good 3 to 4 years. It was exciting, navigating both work and our personal lives with such secrecy. What made our bond even stronger during that time was our mutual love for travel. We started exploring the world together, discovering new places and creating unforgettable memories. Our first trip was to Prague, where we walked hand in hand along the beautiful cobbled streets, soaking in the city’s history and charm. That was just the beginning. From there, we ventured to Turkey, where the rich culture and vibrant energy captivated us. We enjoyed the bustling bazaars, the ancient ruins, and the stunning landscapes. Thailand, with its serene beaches and amazing food, became one of our favorite destinations. The vibrant city life of Singapore, the towering skyscrapers of UAE, and the dynamic streets of Hong Kong added even more to our travel diaries. Each destination brought us closer, strengthening our bond, and we knew that our love for both each other and travel was something special. After a few years of traveling and experiencing so many beautiful moments together, we decided to marry. It's been 6 years now, and every day feels like a new adventure. We’ve been blessed with a baby boy, and the best part? He shares our love for exploring new places! Now, we’re a little trio, setting out to discover new countries and cultures together. Our journey isn’t just about seeing new places; it’s about sharing these experiences as a family and creating memories that will last a lifetime. Traveling is something that connects us deeply, and we look forward to showing our little one even more of the world in the years to come.
