Traveling has always been a way for me to get out of my comfort zone, and I knew traveling to Vietnam would be no different. This trip will be more than just discovering new places—it will be an opportunity for me to grow in ways I can’t even fully anticipate. The rich and diverse culture of Vietnam is something I am interested in experiencing for myself. Whether trying street food in Hanoi or learning about local traditions, I know this trip will expand my understanding of the world. Reading about a place is one thing, but living in it even briefly is quite another. By interacting with people and their way of life, I will gain a new appreciation for different cultures, which will make me more open-minded and empathetic. I read about the history of Vietnam, especially the Vietnam War, but visiting places like the Cu Chi Tunnels and the War Relics Museum gives us an unseen perspective Seeing these places and hearing stories from Vietnamese people would defy logic if I have about history and it has helped me look at the nuances of the world more. It’s one thing to learn about history in class; It’s another thing to live where it happened. The natural beauty of Vietnam is something I’m really looking forward to. Whether it’s the serene rice terraces of Sapa or the stunning waters of Ha Long Bay, I know I’ll be more connected to the landscape. This trip will remind us of the importance of preserving the environment and inspire us to live in a sustainable manner. Being in nature always clears my mind, and I believe that Vietnam will give me more opportunities to think. Traveling in a country where I don't speak the language and know nothing will be difficult, but I am ready for it. Every time I figure out how to navigate a new situation—whether it’s ordering food or finding my way around a busy city—it gives me confidence. These small victories will remind me that I can handle whatever life throws my way. Ultimately, I knew this trip would give me time to figure out what was most important to me. When I’m away from home routines and distractions, I have space to reflect on my values and goals. Seeing how people live in Vietnam, often focused on family and community, can inspire me to reevaluate my own priorities. I hope to come home not only with memories, but with a clear sense of purpose. Ultimately, this trip to Vietnam will be more than just exploring a new country. It will be a journey of personal growth—learning, reflection, and a better version of myself. I’m excited to see how this experience will change me and help me understand myself and the world a little better.

I also couldn’t get enough of their spicy and flavorful prawn noodles. But the highlight of my trip was tasting alligator meat! Cooked to perfection, it was surprisingly tender and delicious, an experience that pushed my foodie boundaries like never before. And let’s not forget the bubble tea in Thailand—it was truly amazing, with its sweet, refreshing taste and chewy tapioca pearls that made every sip an adventure of its own. Now, my next culinary dream is to explore the vibrant world of Vietnamese cuisine. I’ve heard so much about their iconic pho, a noodle soup that’s both simple and flavorful, and banh mi, the famous sandwich loaded with fresh and tangy fillings. I’m also eager to try banh xeo, their crispy rice pancakes, and discover how their dishes balance sweet, sour, salty, and spicy flavors so beautifully. Food has always been my way of connecting with cultures and people. From the bustling streets of Chandni Chowk to exotic dishes in Thailand and Dubai, every meal tells a story. My dream is to continue this journey, discovering new flavors and expanding my palate. Vietnam is next on my list, and I can’t wait to see where my love for food takes me next!

What started as casual conversations soon turned into late-night chats that stretched till dawn. Over the next six months, those messages became the foundation of a bond that felt unbreakable. As the connection grew stronger, our virtual moments transitioned into video calls. For one magical month, we saw each other not just in words but in smiles and laughter shared across screens. It was during these moments that we knew we had something extraordinary. Finally, the time came to meet in person. Over the next six months, we made it a point to meet every month, cherishing every second we could spend together. With each meeting, our love deepened, and it became clear that we were meant to be. Six months after our engagement, we tied the knot, stepping into a lifetime of adventures together. Now, six years later, we are blessed with a beautiful two-year-old baby girl who adds immeasurable joy to our lives. Our shared love for exploration has taken us to almost every corner of the globe—from the serene landscapes of Canada to the vibrant cities of the USA, the exotic charm of Bali, and the cultural riches of Europe. Together, we’ve made memories in Singapore, Malaysia, Dubai, and beyond. Now, as seasoned travelers and dreamers, we have our hearts set on Vietnam—a country brimming with natural beauty, rich history, and unique experiences. It would be the perfect backdrop for our next chapter of love and adventure.
