“From Da Nang to Halong Bay: A Journey Still to Be Written” Vietnam holds a special place in my heart. My wife and I went there for our honeymoon, and the memories we made are unforgettable. We explored the lively streets of Ho Chi Minh City, admired the charm of Hanoi, and fell in love with the beaches of Da Nang. But there are still places we couldn’t visit—places I know we’ll return for. One of them is Bana Hills. I’ve seen pictures of the Golden Bridge, with its giant hands rising out of the mist, and it feels like something straight out of a dream. I can imagine us walking across it, surrounded by clouds, taking in the breathtaking views. The French-inspired village and the cable car ride up the mountains make it feel like a magical escape. It’s the kind of experience we missed last time but is now at the top of our list. Another is Halong Bay. The emerald waters and limestone islands are stunning, and I’ve always wanted to take a cruise there. I picture us drifting between the towering cliffs, soaking in the peace and beauty of the landscape. Another destination I’m eager to visit is Phu Quoc. Known for its pristine beaches and crystal-clear waters, it’s the perfect place to relax and immerse in the beauty of Vietnam’s coast. I’ve heard so much about its untouched nature and vibrant coral reefs, and I can already imagine the peaceful escape it offers. It’s definitely on my list for the next time we visit. Vietnam isn’t just a place to me—it’s a connection. The warmth of its people, the beauty of its culture, and the memories we made there keep calling us back. From the colorful lanterns of Hoi An to the peaceful temples we visited, every moment felt special. I can’t wait to visit again, to explore the wonders we missed, and to create new memories that will stay with us forever.

My exciting world of travels started at age 21. I had won a ticket for a dance contest with my then-partner to Lusaka, but sadly we broke up subsequently. However I decided to use the ticket to Zambia to beat the depression. That was the best decision and my heartbreak in effect opened a lifetime of loving to travel the world, experience cultures and cuisines. At 55 my wanderlust is still intact and I plan at least 2 trips overseas yearly when and as I can afford to Each of my 10 nieces and nephews is also given the opportunity to explore 1 country with me, once in a lifetime trip with Aunty, as I call it, a legacy I leave them, having no kids myself. Last year ethan and estelle chose Vietnam and we flew your airline It was a beautiful experience to explore this beautiful with them. And being foodies, we tried everything but always ended with a bahn me at night. HoiAn is my most favourite place on earth.. Beautiful mystical and magical.. I hope to visit soon with my nieces and nephews who weren't there as I could only afford 2 per trip
