I slipped, he caught me. An eye contact that became 'Love at first sight' for him, an embarrassed gratitude for me. This was at some random party where I met Mehul for the first time and it took me few dates to figure out that he was the one. My past had taught me only love was not enough to sustain a relationship, but slowly he made me realise he is the perfect version of all factors I was looking out for. Our love for food brought me and Mehul closer. Dates after dates, long weekends or short, we would venture out to try the best of Mumbai's food places and later covered many in India. Oh, what a joy, to fall in love over and over again, food blogging, shopping, compliments that gave way to romance, texts that turned to love letters and problems that turned to Joint missions. Marrying him was not a choice but must do since we knew that there was none other we could settle down with. We took our sweet own time to spend time, tell our families and then get married. Its been 3 months to our wedding and it still feels like yesterday. Everyday spent together is a blessing indeed. We are glad our families supported us as our love bloomed. I wonder what a dull life it would have been had I not found Mehul that day. Turns out sometimes we slip to rise, atleast in my case it holds true. We have been to possibly every corner of India and now it's time to escape and explore the beauty of Vietnam, to spread love, to be in love with ourselves and to click click click!
