I was just 16 years old when I met Shashank in 2007. We have very limited access to internet at that time. So we met on a sms dating platform. I was ready to leave the chatroom because I didn't find anyone of my age. That's when I saw his message and i had balance left for only one message. Without thinking twice I texted him with my name (fake one), age and my mobile number. In no time he called me and we got to talking. We talked through the entire night. We really liked sharing every detail of the day with each other. It was finally time to meet each other. But I was really nervous. We lived in the same city but still it was a long distance as I was not used to travelling by then. So he came to see me everytime. But we couldn't make it work because of the distance. So we decided to remain friends, but still continued talking to each other everyday. After a few years, we thought of giving it another try and this time both of us were already travelling to go to college. We both travelled half way to meet each other. We connected well and later on we found our love for travel. Fast forward to 2017 when we decided to tell our parents and get married. It took us almost 5 years to convince them and finally got married in the year 2022. We both live happily with our 3 cats and slowly building our lives from the scratch.

I married two years ago and my wife is Vietnamese. During pandemic, we are seperated so we cannot organize our wedding/honeymoon. That time, my wife also faced with a severe sickness. A lot of difficulties came to our lives, but with sincere love we can overcome everything. Both of us are positive so we always have a strong belief that we can be together. And it comes true, now life is normal again, I can bring her to India. My dream is to organize a honeymoon for us to cheer our love and celebrate that she passed her hard time of treatment to become a cancer warrior. I always love Vietnam. Such a beautiful country with beautiful landscape, beaches, good food and people are so friendly there. Now my love is more and more as Vietnam is my second home and I have a part of my heart there.
