But once in a while, I step away from my desk and immerse myself in the unknown. Traveling the world has become not just a passion, but an essential part of who I am. For me, exploration is more than just sightseeing—it's about learning, experiencing new cultures, and gaining perspectives that go beyond the daily grind. The world offers endless opportunities for growth, and I find that every new destination teaches me something valuable. Whether it’s the taste of a new cuisine, the warmth of meeting people from different walks of life, or the awe of witnessing nature’s wonders, each journey brings me a sense of fulfillment that is hard to match. Taking time out to travel is a deliberate choice, despite the busy nature of my job. I’ve learned to plan my trips around long weekends, holidays, and occasional sabbaticals, making sure that my time away from work is as enriching as it is rejuvenating. I believe that stepping out of my comfort zone and immersing myself in new environments allows me to return to my job with fresh perspectives, creativity, and energy. I don’t see exploring the world as a luxury, but rather as an investment in myself. Every trip—whether it’s exploring the vibrant streets of Japan, diving into the vibrant cultures of Asia, or trekking through the lush landscapes of Kazakhstan—adds to my understanding of the world. It reminds me that there's so much more to experience outside of the confines of the office. In the end, it's this balance between work and travel that keeps me motivated. The world is vast, and I want to see as much of it as possible, learning from every corner and bringing back memories and insights that shape who I am—both as a professional and as a person.

I would start with my dream of taking flights. When I was a child, every time a flight went above from my home. I would run outside and see it. I always made my smile and I even know why. After 2 decades of dreaming, I booked a flight from my city Hyderabad to Goa with my own money and it was a dream come true. I met new people who were hundreds of kilometers away from home and thousands of kilometers as well. Meeting foreigners and learning about their cultures was like feeding my brain with exciting stuff. Their education, lifestyle, food, cuisines and everything is so impressive. I have taken a few domestic flights in India and that is when the international travel bug bit me. Due to job or family constraints, I never had time for international travel. While I was checking youtube videos, its deep cultural roots and breathtaking landscapes, was fascinated me. When I first heard about Vietjet’s “Love Connection Phase 2 – Dreams Take Flight India” campaign, it felt like a golden opportunity dropped from the heavens. I'm so excited that I can't even think of any more words. I wanna see the beauty of nature, explore food and my top most favorite is meeting new people & chit chat with them for hours, days if possible lol.

The Socialist Republic of Vietnam, with its rich history, stunning landscapes, and vibrant culture, has long been a destination I have yearned to explore. However, financial constraints have consistently stood in the way of my dream and desire to visit Vietnam. As someone who has spent 21 years in the Military, I also have a deep interest in Vietnam's war history. For example, the Long Bien Bridge in Hanoi, once bombed by US forces and later rebuilt by the Vietnamese, is a symbol of strength and perseverance. My fascination with Vietnam's war history also extends into my work as a writer. I am a published author, and much of my writing explores the lives of soldiers and the complex emotions they endure. One of my stories, "From the Shadows," is set against the backdrop of the Vietnam War. I feel myself very close to Sir Thomas A Edison's quote saying a single sheet of paper can not decide my future. I strictly adhere to these lines after spending my best 25 years of life finding happiness in books but now I understand that real thing is practical knowledge which you can find by meeting new people and greeting opportunities!
