Ganapathi Subramanyam Jayam
Yasaswini chunduru
In the busy exam hall, I first saw her, and she caught my eye immediately. Even with all the chaos around, she was the only thing I could focus on. Later, at a temple, I spotted her again, this time with my friends. I couldn't let her slip away again, so I asked my friends to help me find her. I sent her a message on Instagram, but got no reply at first. I didn't give up, though. Eventually, I found some people who knew her, and they helped me get in touch. We started talking, and from there, our bond grew stronger every day. Our families weren't sure about us at first, but our love convinced them in the end. Finally, on November 25th, 2023, we got married, and since then, we've been living happily together.

Mani Wadhwa
Anmol Malhotra
If there was a saying that goes like..... getting 'high' on friendship, then I have surely felt that one with my partner, Anmol Malhotra. Our story goes like this: We met on the day we joined the same company on the same day. Groups started forming as usual and in no time we became friends. It wasn’t the perfect one, we also had our ups and downs, sometimes we didn't agree with each other on a few topics, and had arguments over a few things, but this number was way too small as compared to how much we actually understand each other's views, series references and completing each other's sentences ( that's an awfully large number of times). Also, planning things with him and supporting each other's ideas was exquisite. One time that I remember vividly was the one when I was trapped in office politics and mind you he is a lot more corporate smart than I was and helped me go through with it. He was and is like a support system to me. No matter how much work stress or environmental stress I had, the sheer thought of seeing him every day made me happy. But when all this was happening I asked myself whether we had a future together or not, but I was too afraid to shake the boat as I didn’t want to lose this friendship as well. One day he informed me that he had applied for a better position in some other company and might have a good chance in it. I was happy for his potential success. But when the day came when he told everyone that he would be leaving in a month, my heart skipped a beat. I wasn’t prepared for this moment. I proposed to him haphazardly. He was quite shocked but said that I was his best friend and he had always found me attractive. The only thing keeping him away was the thought of ruining the relationship that we had. So here I am now 4 months happily married to my best friend and the best partner. I would love to win this contest as I already mentioned we have always enjoyed planning trips together. The idea of exploring a new country altogether, Vietnamese cuisine, local culture, and a lot more just refreshes our memories of how we used to do it together back then.

Rohit Kumar
Preeti Mishra
In the bustling streets of 1980s India, fate wove its intricate patterns, guiding Rohit and Preeti through the labyrinth of life's uncertainties. It all began with a serendipitous encounter when Preeti's father stumbled upon Rohit's humble abode in search of a rented room. Little did they know, this chance meeting would lay the foundation for a love story that defied time and distance. Two years later, Preeti's cries echoed through the walls of Rohit's childhood home, marking her arrival into the world. And a year thereafter, another joyous occasion cemented the bond between their families, setting the stage for the intertwining of their destinies. As they grew, so did their familial ties, with Rohit's uncle marrying Preeti's aunt, further weaving their lives together. However, as Preeti's family moved to a different city, fate orchestrated their reunion years later, as neighbors and childhood friends. Their days were painted with laughter and shared secrets, but as adolescence unfurled its complexities, Rohit found himself grappling with emotions he couldn't articulate. In a moment of vulnerability, he confided in one of Preeti's friends, unwittingly setting off a chain of events that would alter their lives. Whispers of Rohit's feelings reached Preeti's ears, casting a veil of silence between them. Yet, amidst the uncertainty, Preeti's reassurance kindled a flame of hope, and their love bloomed, unseen but not unnoticed. Years passed, and as Preeti's parents sought a suitable match, fate intervened once more. Rohit's uncle, guardian of their love's secret, presented a proposition that would bind them in matrimony. With the blessings of their families, Rohit and Preeti embarked on a journey of love and commitment. Their marriage was more than an arranged alliance; it was a culmination of hearts beating as one since childhood. Despite distance and lack of communication, their love endured, a testament to destiny's guiding hand and the resilience of their bond. As they exchanged vows, Rohit knew their love would weather any storm. Today, standing together, they cherish the fruits of their love, a reminder that amidst life's chaos, destiny's embrace is a beacon of hope, guiding souls to their destined shores.

Our journey began amidst the hallowed halls of medical academia, where my husband and I, bound by our shared passion for healing, found ourselves intertwined in the intricate dance of higher learning. Despite his scholarly prowess, my husband was a reserved soul, his gaze often drifting away in moments of social interaction. Yet, within that quiet demeanor lay a heart brimming with tenderness, waiting for the right moment to unfurl its depths. Fate, it seemed, had orchestrated our paths to converge under the guidance of a shared mentor. Assigned the same thesis guide, we embarked on a journey of academic exploration that would ultimately lead us to discover something far more profound—love. However, our love story unfolded against a backdrop of societal barriers. Castes and communities stood as rigid boundaries, threatening to thwart the blossoming romance between us. My father, a man of tradition, staunchly opposed our union, viewing it as a defiance of cultural norms. Similarly, my husband's parents harbored reservations, wary of straying from the familiar confines of tradition. Yet, love, as they say, knows no bounds. It transcends barriers and defies expectations. It was amidst a moment of trial, as my mother battled illness within the sterile confines of a hospital room, that the true depth of our love was put to the test. As we gathered around my ailing mother, hearts heavy with worry, my husband arrived. In a gesture both audacious and heartfelt, he seized the moment, commandeering the hospital's loudspeaker to proclaim his love for me before a captive audience. His words, imbued with sincerity, echoed through the hushed corridors, piercing through the veil of doubt and uncertainty. In that singular moment, amidst the gaze of onlookers and the hushed whispers of bystanders, our fate was sealed. My husband's courageous declaration softened the hardened hearts of our families, paving the way for a union born not out of obligation, but out of a deep and abiding love. And so, after a year of trials and tribulations, we exchanged vows, pledging our lives to one another in a bond that transcended societal norms and expectations. Now, as we stand on the precipice of a new chapter, we do so with hearts full of gratitude and anticipation. Together, we embrace the joys of parenthood, blessed with the arrival of our two precious children, Suryansh and Samantha. As we gaze upon their innocent faces, we are reminded of the journey that brought us together—the trials endured, the barriers overcome, and the love that triumphed against all odds. And so, hand in hand, we eagerly await the adventures that lie ahead, ready to explore the wonders of the world as a testament to the enduring power of love.
