Seven Wonders Life is too short to make big commitments, but such actions help people like me to be focussed and move ahead, thrive on such ambitions and make it happen. One afternoon when I was talking to my then fiance and now wife, we were discussing about honeymoon destinations, and topic went to places like Great wall of china, pyramids etc, instantly I said to her that together we will cover all the seven wonders we have heard about when we were kids. Then we started making the list and it follows as: 1. Statue of Liberty 2. Great wall of China 3. Pyramids 4. Eiffel Tower 5. Opera House 6. Leaning tower of Pisa 7. Taj Mahal We both have been to Taj Mahal, but not together. Had an opportunity to visit Pyramids and Eiffel Tower. Rest are remaining, and the fight is on to make this a reality. Sharing this small fact about our marriage to tell everyone that life is about such small commitments, making them a reality and looking forward to the fun and adventure in the process. 12 years, of togetherness and we could see only 2, by this calculation I think this marriage is going to last long…and together we will in our own little ways, conquer the world! Expressing love is difficult, specially if you were brought up in an Indian Middle Class Family, We express our love through our gestures, it is seldom verbal. My way of expressing my love to my wife is to take her on trips, roam around the world, see different culture, try different kind of food and just sit and observe her happiness, I know not a ver romantic thing in terms of a public view, but to me my love for my wife is something very personal, We always crib about being in a marriage and stuck in the monotony of life. But Such trips makes us re kindle the affection we have and remind us what we dreamt together can be a reality! Story or not...this is our love story!
