Since childhood, my mother taught me to connect with divine energies and be grateful to the higher powers guiding us—a lesson that now draws me to Vietnam. This beautiful country, with its rich culture, history, and spiritual depth, embodies the kind of divine energy I believe surrounds us all. While I don’t follow one specific god, I feel there’s a universal force that grounds us and guides our lives, and Vietnam, with its breathtaking pagodas and spiritual depth, feels like the perfect place to explore and connect with it. During my college years, I earned a bachelor’s degree in psychology and completed three courses—two on human behavior and one on sociology. These studies helped me understand people and the energies that drive them, but I’ve always believed that real understanding comes from experiences, not just books. That’s why I’ve traveled across India, visiting places like Vaishno Devi Mandir in the North and the ancient temples of Thiruvananthapuram in the South. Each place offered its own unique energy, filling me with peace and purpose. I’ve also felt this divine energy outside India. From praying in Dubai’s dargahs to seeking calm in Indian gurudwaras and churches, every place has added to my understanding of how spirituality connects us. But Vietnam feels different. Its blend of natural beauty, ancient traditions, and a culture deeply rooted in harmony makes me feel that this country has something truly special to offer. Vietnam’s spiritual sites, like the 1,500-year-old Chùa Trấn Quốc pagoda in Hanoi or the stunning Long Sơn Pagoda with its majestic white Buddha, have always drawn me. But it’s not just about temples and pagodas—it’s about the people, the energy, and the way of life. The Vietnamese people, with their friendliness, resilience, and strong work ethic, inspire me to learn how they manage to stay so content and balanced. What fascinates me even more is the strong role women play in Vietnamese society. Compared to my own country, women in Vietnam have a visible and powerful presence in markets and businesses. I want to understand the cultural and historical reasons behind this and how their society encourages this kind of equality. For me, this journey isn’t just about seeing a new country—it’s about growing as a person. Vietnam offers everything I admire: a rich culture, breathtaking landscapes, delicious food, and adventure. But most importantly, it offers a chance to connect with a way of life that values both progress and peace. Life is all about experiences, and I believe visiting Vietnam could be one of the most meaningful ones for me. It’s not just a destination; it feels like a place where I can find clarity, learn from the people, and bring back lessons that will shape my life. This journey isn’t just something I want—it’s something I feel I truly deserve to experience.

Exploring the culture of Vietnam is a journey steeped in history, resilience, and vibrant traditions. Each city—Da Nang, Hanoi, Hoi An, and Ho Chi Minh City (Saigon)—offers a unique tapestry of experiences that resonate deeply with me. Starting with Hanoi, the capital, its blend of old-world charm and modernity captivates the spirit. Wandering through the narrow streets of the Old Quarter, I feel a pulse of life infused with history. The sound of motorbikes zipping past, the aroma of street food wafting through the air, and the sight of ancient temples create a sensory overload that ignites my curiosity. The rich heritage of Hanoi is palpable, from the serene beauty of Hoan Kiem Lake to the solemnity of the Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum. Each moment spent here reveals a story, and I yearn to connect with the people, to hear their tales of resilience and hope amid the changing tides of history. Moving south to Hoi An, the ancient town enchants with its preserved architecture and lantern-lit nights. Here, the blend of Vietnamese, Chinese, and Japanese influences creates a cultural mosaic that speaks of harmony and coexistence. Walking along the riverside, I’m drawn to the artisans crafting intricate lanterns and textiles. The essence of Hoi An lies in its sense of community, where local traditions flourish alongside contemporary artistry. The culinary scene, with its emphasis on fresh ingredients and traditional recipes, beckons me to learn more about the significance of food in Vietnamese culture—how it connects families, generations, and communities. In Da Nang, the coastal city known for its stunning beaches and vibrant nightlife, I am intrigued by the juxtaposition of natural beauty and urban life. The Golden Bridge, with its surreal design held aloft by giant stone hands, symbolizes the bridging of tradition and innovation. Da Nang represents the forward-looking spirit of Vietnam, where the past is honored while embracing the future. I feel a strong pull to explore its dynamic art scene and the bustling markets that reflect the city's diverse influences, eager to understand how this evolution shapes the identity of its people. Lastly, Ho Chi Minh City—a bustling metropolis where history and modernity collide. The historical significance of sites like the War Remnants Museum and the Cu Chi Tunnels offers a profound insight into Vietnam's tumultuous past. The energy of the city is contagious; the street markets, cafes, and nightlife create an atmosphere of relentless vitality. Here, I want to engage with the vibrant youth culture that is reshaping Vietnam's narrative, exploring how tradition and modernity coexist in their daily lives. The emotional journey through Vietnam's culture is not just about observing; it’s about connecting with the heart of its people. This exploration promises to be a profound experience, deepening my appreciation for the diverse cultural heritage that Vietnam embodies.

Hi, I’m Chirag — a passionate traveler and content creator. Exploring new places, immersing myself in different cultures, and sharing those experiences with the world is what I love most. Last year, I had the incredible opportunity to visit Thailand. It was, without a doubt, one of the best trips of my life. From the serene beaches to the bustling night markets and the rich, flavorful cuisine, every moment felt like a scene from a dream. I captured every adventure on camera, turning it into stories for my audience to experience with me. But there’s one dream that still drives me every day — Vietnam. The thought of exploring Vietnam’s vibrant city life, its colorful street markets, ancient temples, and charming cafés fills me with excitement. I imagine riding a motorbike through the busy streets of Hanoi, savoring a bowl of authentic pho, and witnessing the surreal beauty of Ha Long Bay. Beyond the iconic sites, I’m eager to connect with the heart of Vietnam’s culture — its people, its traditions, and its untold stories. As a content creator, my goal is to not just see these places but to bring them to life for others. Through videos, photos, and stories, I want to inspire people to chase their own dreams of travel. Every city, every street, every smile has a story, and I’m here to tell it. My journey is far from over, and Vietnam is the next chapter I’m determined to write. Until then, I’ll keep creating, dreaming, and sharing every step of the way. 💓🫶
