Photography has always been more than a hobby for me—it's a way of seeing the world through a unique lens, capturing fleeting moments and preserving them for eternity. My passion for photography began during a childhood road trip when I was captivated by the vast landscapes we passed. With a simple camera in hand, I started capturing the beauty of nature, the majesty of mountains, and the tranquility of rivers. What began as a few snapshots soon evolved into a full-blown passion for documenting the world around me. As I grew older, my interest expanded beyond just landscapes. I started exploring different places, seeking out the architectural marvels that define a city's identity. The intricate details of ancient temples, the grandeur of modern skyscrapers, and the rustic charm of rural homes—all became subjects for my lens. Each structure tells a story, and I found joy in uncovering and sharing these stories through my photographs. Culture, too, became an integral part of my photographic journey. Traveling to different regions allowed me to experience diverse traditions, vibrant festivals, and everyday moments that define a community's way of life. Through my camera, I aim to capture the essence of these cultures, offering a glimpse into the rich tapestry of human experience. Participating in the VietJet contest is an exciting opportunity for me to share my love for photography with a wider audience. My work is a testament to the beauty of our world, from the serene landscapes to the bustling cityscapes, and the rich cultural heritage that connects us all. As someone who finds joy in traveling, my true passion lies in discovering and immersing myself in the cultural values that shape different societies. Vietnam, with its rich history and vibrant traditions, has always fascinated me. From the quiet serenity of the pagodas to the bustling energy of street markets, every corner of this country holds a story. I want to walk through the ancient streets of Hoi An, listen to the wisdom of the locals, and learn how their traditions have evolved over time. For me, travel is not just about seeing new places but understanding the people and cultures that make each destination unique. Vietnam’s unique blend of resilience, warmth, and history inspires me, and this trip would allow me to deepen that connection. With every journey, I grow a little more, and I’m eager to be inspired by the people of Vietnam and bring those stories back to share with the world.

In 2019, I selected the Communication & Journalism program for my postgraduate studies in University of Kerala. The opportunity to study film and film production in the third semester was a significant factor in my decision. My ambition is to direct numerous feature films. I believe that extensive travel, gaining new experiences, connecting with diverse individuals, exploring various cultures, and trying different cuisines will enrich my creativity and perspective. This journey will undoubtedly be advantageous for me as an aspiring filmmaker. Collaborating with university of Kerala, Kerala govt advertising and imaging technology agency (Cdit), public relations society of India during and after the course I have directed documentary fictions, short films, promo films and I worked as cover fashion photographer for an online magazine also. some of my films were selected in various prestigious film festivals also. In my postgraduate studies, I had the pleasure of befriending two classmates from Vietnam, Do Trinh and Nguyễn Ngọc Trinh. Through them, I discovered the rich cultures, diverse cuisines, and artistic expressions of Vietnam. My time in post graduate school also allowed me to deepen my understanding of photography and film production. Trinh and Nguyễn Ngọc Trinh frequently served as my models for various photography projects. Inspired by their influence, I published a low-light photography book titled ‘RETRATO’ within the department. They are both truly among the most remarkable and significant humans I have encountered in my life. After the course in 2021, when they departed from Kerala, I resolved to visit their homeland, Vietnam, at least once. I began to act on this decision in August 2024, the month I completed the script for my first film. When I shared the news with them on WhatsApp about my upcoming trip, I was thrilled to hear my Vietnamese friends express their eagerness to join me in exploring the streets of Hanoi, the train village, and more. I began my research on flight prices and visa requirements for traveling to Vietnam. During this process, I came across an article in the newspaper about VietJet Air's Love Connection. I can't express how thrilled and joyful I felt upon reading it. I am eager to capture numerous photographs, explore the Ho Chi Minh Museum, indulge in delicious dishes like pho, bun bo hue, banh mi, Che, bo bit tet, Goi cuon and experience the warm hospitality of the Vietnamese people. I visited Delhi in March 2023 to begin writing my first feature film, and now, over a year later, the script is complete. Before diving into production, I plan to embark on an extensive trip to Vietnam. This journey will allow me to reconnect with my Vietnamese friends, gain valuable experiences, immerse myself in the local culture, appreciate the arts, and photograph the vibrant community. After this adventure, I will return to Kerala to pursue my dream of making my first film

Working as an International Business Development Manager has given me the chance to combine my love for travel, culture and food with my career goals. The last few days, I had the amazing chance to travel to Thailand and China, countries which are fascinating with their impeccable combination of the old and the new. Every journey is an eye opener as well as an opportunity to expand one’s worldview and this is exactly what motivates me to communicate my travels through my social media platforms. In Thailand, I enjoyed the hospitality of the people and the unique taste of their dishes. I learned about the traditions of the Thai people on my trips to the floating markets of Bangkok or on my attempts to taste the spicy som tum salad. Business meetings with me were sometimes occasions where cultural exchanges took center stage as my Thai partners would take me to their favorite places that were off the beaten track. When I came to think of China, I found grandeur in its history and marvel in its modernity. Socializing in the gleaming skyscrapers of Shanghai and walking through the old hutongs in Beijing made me feel the vast historical unknowns that are existent in the country as well as the progressive mindset. Eating, for example, Xiaolongbao (soup dumplings), turned into a fantastic ceremony, with each meal seeming to be a narrative.
