As a young woman determined to explore 30 countries before turning 30, I am one of the first in my family to have the courage to dream big. Adding Vietnam to my list would be a fantastic opportunity to experience a country so rich in culture, history, and unique cuisine. I have always been passionate about food, and exploring local cuisine in every place is my way of understanding its culture. Hearing my friends’ stories of Vietnam’s vibrant street life, friendly locals, and diverse food scene has only fueled my desire to visit. They’ve described how different and magical Vietnam felt—waking up early to explore, taking leisurely walks, and engaging in conversations with locals, embracing every bit of the country’s charm. This trip would be an inspiring step towards fulfilling my travel dreams, breaking barriers, and proving that a girl from my background can reach beyond expectations, adding another beautiful chapter to my journey of growth and self-discovery.

My exciting world of travels started at age 21. I had won a ticket for a dance contest with my then-partner to Lusaka, but sadly we broke up subsequently. However I decided to use the ticket to Zambia to beat the depression. That was the best decision and my heartbreak in effect opened a lifetime of loving to travel the world, experience cultures and cuisines. At 55 my wanderlust is still intact and I plan at least 2 trips overseas yearly when and as I can afford to Each of my 10 nieces and nephews is also given the opportunity to explore 1 country with me, once in a lifetime trip with Aunty, as I call it, a legacy I leave them, having no kids myself. Last year ethan and estelle chose Vietnam and we flew your airline It was a beautiful experience to explore this beautiful with them. And being foodies, we tried everything but always ended with a bahn me at night. HoiAn is my most favourite place on earth.. Beautiful mystical and magical.. I hope to visit soon with my nieces and nephews who weren't there as I could only afford 2 per trip
